Stockley Park is home to Marks & Spencer and BP. Formally a refuse dump, Stockley pioneered the concept of the re-use of land fill sites and brought US style business parks to the United Kingdom for the first time. Designed by a group of architects including Arup and Foster & Partners, more than a third of the buildings were bespoke for the occupier. Regeneration of the site and the first three buildings were achieved after 12 months of construction.
