Health and Safety

Chelsfield are committed to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of everybody affected by our activities and that is the overriding factor in the decision making process.

Throughout the life of the project all stakeholders involved in the supply chain will be obliged to uphold our standards and operate a zero tolerance approach to breaches of Health and Safety Codes of Practise. In order to foster a culture of excellence in Health and Safety the strategy can be broken down into three principal elements – all of which are knitted together.

In addition to Chelsfield, principal responsibility for Health and Safety at this stage of the project will rest with the main contractor. The selection of the contracting partner will ensure our ideals and aspirations are matched and that the contractor believes Health and Safety is integral to the way the scheme is delivered.
